CS101 Fiasco, KAIST Propaganda & The Killers

It seems that this blog has officially been abandoned? That is why I am back to bring it back to life once more... since there is NO ONE ELSE that comes to post anything. ¬¬ either way... on to the STUFF!~

starting with the whole CS101 course fiasco. Oh yeaah~ do you guys remember how I had said that they were changing the CS101 course from Java to Python next semester? Well, it seems that it was not really approved and they didn't let the CS department change it to Python, and wanted them to change it to C/C++ instead... BUT after some time fighting back saying that they had already hired the professors and all that jazz, the CS department finally got what they want: CS101 course will teach Python. This doesn't really matter for me since I'm already killing myself with Java this semester, but lots of people were getting confused with the constant change... but it seems now that Python will really be the computer language that you will be learning if you come to KAIST in the upcoming semesters. (at least that is what's decided for now...)

now on to KAIST PROPAGANDA! woot!
why KAIST propaganda you are probably thinking... well... last week was the week when they put all the freshies to show their amazing FRESHMAN DESIGN projects to the public through the Poster Fair. What propaganda has to with the poster fair? heh!~ On the last day KBS decided to show up together with KAIST's president 서남표 (Suh NamPyo) to check out the projects. Actually... their main focus was actually on the foreigners that took the course this semester. Oh yeah~ they just had to advertize how there is a good number of foreigners at KAIST and blah blah blah to bring KAIST's image up, right? Being honest, I don't really know where i'm getting at from talking about this... but ANYWAAAY~ yeah... KBS... and 서남표... at the Freshman Design Poster Fair. Being honest, it was actually quite interesting I must say. People usually have this fascination with cameras, you know? Many were following the cameras around. lol~ from what i've heard, the program will be aired on Jan. 7th.. which KBS channel? I don't know... and I also don't know the time. so yaah.

THE KILLERS!
they are COMING TO KOREA! 아싸!!
I swear... that if this concert had also turned up to be set on a date when I wouldn't be here, I would've gone crazy! I mean... I already have no chance to go watch MUSE or GREEN DAY! if I had to miss THE KILLERS also, I would become miserable. Really! So yeeeah~ The Killers is coming to Korea also and they are having their concert on Feb. 6th 2010!! (booyaah! I'm so going!)~ tickets are on sale at interpark.com and they are 77,000 & 99,000~ (kinda pricey, but oh well.)

Ok. I think this is all, folks!
yep... I'M OUT!
